Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the CodeTaska QR Android application, connected product services and product website. CodeTaska QR is a product of OERENA. By using the product, you agree to these terms and the CodeTaska QR Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the product.

CodeTaska QR provides tools for scanning, generating, storing, sharing and managing QR codes and barcodes. Features can include image and PDF scanning, local history, cloud sync, dynamic QR destinations, AI-assisted generation, advertising and paid subscription capabilities.

Features, availability, limits and pricing may vary by device, account, region, plan or product version and may change over time.

You are responsible for the content you scan, create, store, share or publish and for ensuring you have the rights and permissions required to use it. You must check QR content before relying on, printing, distributing or deploying it.

You must not use CodeTaska QR to facilitate phishing, malware, fraud, harassment, unlawful surveillance, infringement, deceptive redirects, unauthorised access, harmful content, or any activity that violates applicable law or another person's rights.

QR codes and barcodes can contain or lead to content controlled by third parties. OERENA does not create, endorse, verify or control third-party destinations merely because CodeTaska QR can scan or encode them.

You should inspect links and destination details, use appropriate device security, and exercise caution before opening a link, making a payment, sharing information or taking another action. OERENA is not responsible for third-party content, products, services, security or privacy practices.

Some features require Google sign-in and a Firebase account identity. You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your device and account, and promptly contact OERENA if you suspect unauthorised access.

Cloud sync is a convenience feature, not a guaranteed archival or disaster-recovery service. Keep independent copies of important QR content. You are responsible for confirming that a sync, restore, export or deletion completed as expected.

You are responsible for destinations, passwords, prompts and content submitted to dynamic or AI-assisted features. Do not use a dynamic destination to conceal harmful or deceptive content, and do not submit confidential information unless necessary and authorised.

AI-assisted output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. Review all generated content before using it. OERENA may restrict or remove dynamic content or access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements or service integrity.

Paid plans are purchased and billed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's payment, renewal, cancellation and refund rules. Subscription prices and billing periods are shown in Google Play before purchase.

Paid access may require the purchasing Google Play account, a permanent signed-in Firebase account, network access and successful server verification. You can manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play. Cancellation normally stops future renewal and does not retroactively refund an elapsed billing period unless Google or applicable law provides otherwise.

Eligible Free-plan users may see ads. CodeTaska QR also relies on third-party services for app distribution, authentication, cloud infrastructure, subscriptions, advertising, sharing and external links. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and OERENA is not responsible for services it does not control.

OERENA and its licensors retain all rights in CodeTaska QR, its software, design, branding, website and related materials. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the product for its intended purpose, subject to these terms.

You retain rights in content you provide. You grant OERENA the limited rights reasonably needed to process that content and operate the feature you request.

OERENA may update, modify, suspend or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary for product development, security, legal compliance, provider changes or operations. OERENA may restrict access where it reasonably believes there is misuse, fraud, a security risk or a violation of these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeTaska QR is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. OERENA does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, detection of every code, accuracy of generated or AI-assisted content, permanent storage, or the safety and availability of third-party destinations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OERENA and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill or opportunity arising from use of the product. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

OERENA may update these terms as the product or applicable requirements evolve. The current version will be posted here with a revised last-updated date. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law.
